Our group attended the 20th National Electrochemistry Meeting

From October 25^th to 28^th, 2019, the master and PhD candidates of our research group attended the 20^th National Electrochemistry Meeting held in Changsha, Hunan province. The National Electrochemical Conference is the largest and most influential electrochemical communication platform in China, and is held every two years.

The master candidate Xiaoyue Yao gave an oral presentation of “In situ fabrication of CuO nanowire film for high-sensitive ascorbic acid recognition”, the Ph.D. candidate Tao Liu and master candidate Fuhao Hu gave the poster presentations of “Simultaneous biosensing of catechol and hydroquinone via a truncated cube-shaped Au/PBA nanocomposite” and “Facial preparation of porous Co₃O₄nanocubes for directly screen-printing an ultrasensitive glutamate biosensor microchip” respectively. Their presentations arouse heated discussions between related experts. Congratulations to Fuhao Hu on winning the award of best poster.

11月2日，2024中国化工学会科技创新大会暨颁奖典礼在西安召开，金万勤教授荣获2024年度侯德榜化工科学技术奖成就奖，并受邀上台领奖。

9月22日，国际期刊《Science》在线发表了金万勤教授团队题为“Solid-solvent processing of ultrathin, highly loaded mixed-matrix membrane for gas separation”的研究论文。陈桂宁博士后为第一作者、刘公平教授和金万勤教授为共同通讯作者，参与单位有沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学和苏州实验室。这是本团队继二维材料膜（Nature, 2017, 550, 380）和金属有机框架膜（Nature Materials, 2023, 22, 769）研究工作以来，在限域传质膜这一前沿方向取得的另一重大进展。

5月11日，国际期刊《Nature Materials》在线发表了金万勤教授团队题为“Eliminating lattice defects in metal-organic framework molecular-sieving membranes”的研究论文。刘国振博士后为第一作者、刘公平教授和金万勤教授为共同通讯作者，参与单位有苏州实验室、南京大学和沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学。

Big News! Congratulations! Professor Wanqin Jin was granted the Humboldt Research Award by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation(Prof. Wanqin Jin won the 2021 Humboldt Research Prize)

The Humboldt Research Awards have been a central pillar of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s sponsorship activities since 1972. The awards honor the global outstanding scientists outside Germany whose fundamental discoveries, new theories or findings have had a lasting effect on their discipline beyond their immediate research area and who are expected, moreover, to continue producing outstanding research in the future; Also, the nominee’s academic achievements must be internationally recognized and proven by corresponding successes in research. The Humboldt Research Award is the highest honor awarded to foreign scholars by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. It aims to commend the winners’ lifelong academic achievements and has a high international reputation. So far, a not insignificant number of award winner has subsequently been granted the Nobel Prize.

Congratulations: Dr. Zhang Mengchen's graduation thesis "Design and Preparation of Graphene oxide nanofiltration Membrane" was awarded "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Jiangsu Province in 2020"!

In his dissertation Design and Preparation of GO nanofiltration membrane, Dr. Zhang Mengchen proposed a new construction strategy of high performance GO nanofiltration membrane and developed the design and preparation technology of GO nanofiltration membrane, aiming at the bottleneck problems commonly faced by GO nanofiltration membrane, such as poor stability, low water permeability and low salt retention rate. The application in the separation of small organic molecules and salt ions is expanded, which provides a theoretical reference and promotion for the design and development of high performance GO nanofiltration membranes. This thesis was awarded "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Jiangsu Province in 2020" by Jiangsu Provincial Academic Degree Committee in December 2020 (Advisor: Jin Wanqin). Congratulations to Dr. Zhang Mengchen!
