About Prof. Jin
Professor, School of Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University of Technology, Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Materials Chemical Engineering, Chief scientist of "973", leader of the Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education. He has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects, such as 973 Program and major projects of National Natural Science Foundation, in Nature, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Chem. Soc. Rev., AIChE J., and J. Membr. Sci. He has published more than 250 SCI papers in well-known journals in the fields of chemical engineering and materials, which have been cited more than 9,000 times. From 2014 to 2017, he was selected into the list of most Cited Chinese Scholars in the field of Chemical Engineering by Elsevier for 4 consecutive years. As the first author, he has obtained 24 authorized invention patents and published 2 academic monographs. As the Editor of the authoritative membrane journals J. Membr. Sci., he is the editorial board member of Chin. J. Chem. Eng., Asia-Pacific J. Chem. Eng., Journal of Inorganic Materials, Journal of Process Engineering, Journal of Membrane Science and Technology, etc. In 2014, he was the Chairman of ICOM2014, the most influential Conference on Membranes and Membrane Processes in the field of membranes. Executive Director, Asia Pacific Membrane Society (AMS).
Main Research Direction
Mixed conductor oxygen Permeable membrane materials and membrane reactors with high oxygen permeability and structural stability of the development of mixed conductor membrane materials and corresponding membrane reactors for the efficient utilization of natural gas (methane) and thermal decomposition of carbon dioxide.
Academic Team
A team led by Professor Jin Wanqin We are a group of scientists and engineers working on membrane materials, membrane preparation and membrane reactors.
